NASON VALLANTE
Nason has a long history with Morgans and American Saddlebreds. She learned to ride at home with her mother when she was little, showing on a local circuit. As a teen she began taking lessons at Taylor River Farm where she eventually won her first World Championship title in the 13 and under saddle seat equitation division at the Morgan Grand National Horse Show.
Nason has always had a strong passion for show horses and eventually developed that passion into a career when she left her home state of New Hampshire to join the apprentice program at Mercer Springs Farm working for the Lilly family. There she cared for and worked with world and national champions while developing her skills as a professional horse trainer. After a few years, she chose to move back to her home state and join the team at Cater Stables where she was able to broaden her skill set as a trainer as well as learning new skills as a riding instructor. She soon was promoted to the assistant trainer position and continued her education as a caretaker, trainer, and instructor. A few years later, Nason opened her own riding program. There, she started young riders learning the basics of horseback riding and fine polished advanced riders to world championship titles.
Throughout her time at Mercer Springs Farm, Cater Stables, and owning her own riding program, Nason learned the importance of dedication, hard work, and attention to detail. She meets each horse and rider with enthusiasm, safely guiding her students to reach their goals.
